Site Trailers & Attachments

On site haulage is JC Plant’s specialty. To ensure we can meet the customer’s requirements, we have a large range of trailers specially adapted for use on site, from 1 to 18 metre working platform lengths and 1 tonne to 50 tonnes safe working load capacity. All trailers have full braking systems, and these can be either hydraulic, pneumatic or both, depending on the specific customer and site requirements.

Some of our range have been designed specifically for heat exchanger bundle carrying and handling, but have also been employed in a variety of other applications, such as turbine lid management in power station outages.
With their solid axle construction, they have a high degree of stability when used for wide loads and can be fitted with additional outriggers for added stability.
Scaffold companies find that using a Hydraulic trailer braking system and a pickup hitch is the safest way to tow a site trailer using a forklift. Due to the unstable nature of towing with a rear-wheel steer vehicle, it is comforting to feel the trailer brakes slowing the forklift as the pedal is pressed.
Dust suppression is becoming a major health and safety concern on most construction sites these days. Our vacuum tankers can be filled from a stand pipe or simply by sucking water from a pit or sump. During heavy rain or just in particularly wet areas these bowsers can be used for removing water off site completely, allowing staff to have a safer environment in which to work.
